How do I get there?
Please use the
travel link on the menu above.
What entrance is best to get to the festival?
Royal Terrace or off Kelvin Way. Either will give you direct access
to the park and all activities.
Where can I park?
Parking is available at the Museum of transport and at Kelvingrove
art galleries off Sauchihall street
Do I have to pay for parking?
5th of August being a Sunday parking should be free, though there
are
parking meters on the streets surrounding the park.
What food will be on sale?
A variety of food vans will be on site. one near urban stage, one
near indie stage, one near skate board park and one near family tent
Where are the toilets?
Public toilets are at the entrance to the bandstand. Portaloos will
be sign posted on the day.
May I bring my dog with me?
Dogs are welcome. They must be kept under control or on a lease and
must be tidied up after.
May I bring my own food?
Yes, but remember to tidy up your rubbish and recycle your empties.
May I bring alcoholic drinks?
KelvinGroove is a family event and so alcohol is not allowed. We
want you to enjoy the day alcohol free.
Where can change my baby’s nappy?
Kelvingrove Art Gallery, next to the park, has baby changing
facilities.
Is the park accessible for my wheelchair?
Yes, all entrances to the park and paths in the park are accessible.
May we bring a ball to play with?
Balls and Frisbees are welcome in the park. Please be considerate of
other people using the space.
Are there any public telephones?
Yes, On Otago Street
Where the information stand will be located?
Near Royal Terrace entrance on right across from Police Incident Van
